Club Information
Wild Rose Lioness Club was chartered in 1985. Membership meetings are held on the second Monday of each month beginning with dinner at 7:00 p.m. at various locations in town. Board meetings are held prior to the membershp meeting on the second Monday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m.
We regularly donate money to the Eye Bank of Wisconsin, Leader Dog, and the Comprehensive Cancer Center. We also keep money in the community by donating annually to the local library and fire department. We donate money for local school activities and help with eye and hearing tests of children. A lot of our donations go to people in the community who have experienced major hardship (e.g. loss of a home due to fire, people who are unable to work because of health issues, etc.). We also give out three $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. We also volunteer at community events and work with the special needs children's Christmas Party.
For fundraising, we make and sell pizzas twice a year. We also sell Kringles twice a year. We hold bingo sessions during Wild Rose Days. We're looking into more fundraising activities and larger projects as well!
