Hales Corners Lioness (A1)
Club Information
Hales Corners Lioness Club was chartered on April 16, 1998 and is located in District 27-A1 in southeastern Wisconsin. Our sponsor club is the Hales Corners Lions Club. Membership meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Bosch Restaurant, beginning with a social at 6:00 p.m. and dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Our service projects involve helping with eye screening at the Hales Corners elementary schools, running bingo at the Hales Corners Health Care Center and Park Hills, helping the Boy Scouts and the HC Lions Club at the Easter Egg Hunt each year, collecting food for different pantries, helping with different Interfaith projects and in the past year, purchased materials and redecorated a room at Kathy's House.
Although we're a fairly small club, and always looking for new members, we're very proud of the fact that we're able to raise enough money to donate to a number of different organizations. Some of the groups we contribut to are: Leader Dog, Youth Exchange, WI Lions Foundation, WLF Hearing Program, Hunger Task Force, Kathy's House, Women's Veterans Association, Hales Corners Fire Department, HC Police Department, HC Health Department and Interfaith.
